As a trauma survivor as well as a cancer survivor herself, her understanding of life's struggles has deeply informed her work, allowing her to connect with clients on a personal level and inspire them to break free from the past and embrace a new future. Her approach is grounded in authenticity, openness, and empowerment—values she believes are essential in every coaching relationship.

A Track Record of Success and Impact
Dr. Tichi’s impressive credentials include a Ph.D. in Microbiology (Plant Biotechnology) from The Ohio State University, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) (with emphasis on Corporate Strategy) from the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science (in Medical Microbiology) from the University of Washington. Her diverse expertise spans health, wellness, business development, corporate development, and strategic operations.
As a leader in both the fitness and business worlds, Dr. Tichi has held executive positions, including Vice President of Business Development, Director of Commercial Development, Director of Sales (covering North & South America) and Program Director of Product Intelligence. She’s worked with numerous organizations to help them develop strategic paths in health and wellness, executive leadership, and business growth. Her ability to blend her business acumen with her passion for personal empowerment sets her apart as a unique and effective coach.
Empowerment Through Self-Defense & Personal Safety
Dr. Tichi is a Black Belt Instructor in Krav Maga (Israeli Combat Defense), a Brown Belt in Shotokan Karate, a Certified Instructor in Machida Karate Self-Defense and has 2 years training in combative Jiu Jitsu. Her expertise extends to self-defense coaching, where she has helped women of all fitness levels, backgrounds, and ages build confidence and strength through Krav Maga Combat Defense techniques. Her unique program is specifically designed for women, combining trauma-informed practices with the natural movements of the body, ensuring that every student feels empowered and capable.
Her Women’s Empowered Self-Defense Program, recently voted a 2024 Neighborhood Favorite on Nextdoor, is built to instill confidence and resilience, offering both group and private training options. Dr. Tichi’s collaboration
with fodada has supported numerous Women’s Self Defense seminars. fodada, is an international nonprofit focused on International Women’s Self-Defense Day, has reached over 30,000 women across 9 countries, helping women everywhere protect themselves with the power of knowledge and strength.Dr. Tichi's passion for empowering others extends to her work with young students. Since 2022, she has been teaching Kids Karate and Kids Krav Maga at Global Martial Arts in Vista, CA, inspiring young minds and fostering confidence through martial arts. Her engaging approach emphasizes discipline, resilience, and self-awareness, equipping children with valuable life skills. Additionally, as a coach in the Phoenix Sports program and Martial Arts Instructor for kids ages 4-11, Dr. Tichi has created a dynamic environment that encourages physical fitness, self-defense awareness, and positive mindset development from an early age.
